"Lindyspring Systems installed a UV light, reverse osmosis filtration system, and a water softener in our home. In addition to the installations, they removed the old water softener that was in our home when we purchased it. They were very professional, and made sure to clean up after themselves. When we have to change our UV bulb every year, they are easy to work with. If they do not have it in stock they make sure to order it in within a timely manner. They even deliver salt for our softener when needed. If you are looking for professionals who install high quality equipment for good prices, I would highly recommend them!" - Megan E.

"Been at the lake since 1995 and Lindy Springs is the best for Water Systems and Service at the Lake! They installed a system and it's so much better and more efficient than our previous system. Their service to deliver salt is a life saver. They go out of their way and I couldn't be more pleased and grateful to Dave and Rosann." - Marcia Z.

Whether you have municipal water that is hard or chlorinated, Impression Series®RC water conditioners deliver the clear, soft, odor-free water you want and need. It's environmentally-friendly tank design eliminates the need for two systems by combining two medias into one tank. The activated carbon removes chlorine and other unwanted tastes while the high capacity resin is used for the maximum in softening capabilities. It's true . . . nothing will last longer than your first Impression.

Lindyspring Sanitizer
Ideal for homeowners who use well water.

The sanitizer water conditioning system is recognized for its unique ability to kill and remove iron and sulfur bacteria - a naturally-occurring bacteria what can incubate and grow in water softener beds and other water appliances. Most homeowners experience this problem as red or black slime and stains on plumbing fixtures, and foul smells when operating a tap.

The system safely creates chlorine from the softener's brine solution. The dissolved chlorine then sanitizes the media bed with each regeneration of the system. An exclusive crystalline media acts as a superior filter and softener that removes iron, manganese and hardness - while raising pH to acceptable level and securing chlorine for continued media sanitizing.

Count on us for expert advice on which system configuration is just right for your household and water condition. With proper water testing and system selection, you'll optimize your savings in salt and water usage while continuously enjoying the best possible water quality. Some home maintenance items tend to get forgotten because that item isn't broken and often get ignored until it's too late. One thing you may want to consider hiring a professional water treatment company at the Lake of the Ozarks for is to regularly service your water softener and/or water treatment system to prevent issues in the future. Preventative maintenance can save you time money, and the hassle of your system being down for expensive repairs.

Here are great some reasons why you should have the Lake of the Ozarks water treatment professionals at Lindyspring Systems service your water softener regularly to prevent issues in the future.

Prevents Equipment From Malfunctioning

Salt is a necessary part of the ion exchange process in water softener, it's what regenerates the ion resins. Sometimes the salt can build up and harden in the brine tank. This is called bridging. When this happens it's important to break up the salt into smaller pieces and remove any stuck-on residue from the sides of the brine tank to avoid clumping. By scheduling a professional to service a water softener at the Lake of the Ozarks, they can take care of this process for you and sanitize the brine tank to prevent contamination and future potential malfunction issues.

Saves You Money

Like any other appliance in your home, your water softener has parts that need to be regularly maintained and replaced to ensure optimal functionality. Over time, your softeners O-rings, valves, and other moving parts may need to be serviced or replaced. It's important to invest in proper maintenance so that your water softener does its job to save you money by protecting your other appliances and preventing you from having to use more detergents and soaps. By having a professional service your water softener you'll keep it in tip-top shape, prolonging the life expectancy of your softener and all other appliances.

Ensures Quality Water Supply

Not only is hiring a professional important to maintain your softener, but it's also beneficial because they can test your water to ensure your softener is doing as it should and keeping contaminants from entering your drinking water or doing damage to your piping and appliances. Based on the results of the testing that they do, a professional can alter your system settings, install a prefilter, or make other necessary changes to help ensure the water coming into your home is high quality and safe for your family's consumption and use.

There are other benefits to hiring a professional water treatment company at the Lake of the Ozarks to maintain your water softener, but these reasons should explain enough to get our point across. When hard water becomes a problem for your household, there are many treatment options available to help alleviate the problem. However, buying a softener outright may not be within your financial abilities or you simply may not want to make a commitment to such a purchase. Thankfully for your convenience, at Lindyspring Systems we offer rental services! We have tons of rental customers who LOVE being able to get soft water by taking advantage our rental program. So, what are the benefits of renting a water softener? Well, there are several reasons that renting is more convenient than buying for some folks. Take a look:

You Can't Afford the Upfront Cost of Buying
The biggest factor for people choosing to rent is the financial side. To most people, the one time upfront fee of purchasing a water softener is daunting and without the relevant knowledge of which to buy, many people can pay too much for the system. By renting, the stress of financing a softener is eradicated. When renting, you'll only worry about a one-time small installation fee, the low monthly rental fee, and the cost for salt!

You Are Renting or Don't Plan to Reside Long in Your Home
Renting is often considered a short-term solution to an individual’s hard water problems. If you are undecided about the length of your tenure in your current property, then renting may be the best solution for you. There is very low commitment associated with rental because when you decide to move, you don't have to worry about relocating your water softener. You can just contact your Lindyspring provider and they will remove the softener for you and even move and reinstall it for you in your new property if you wish to continue renting!

You Don't Have to Worry About Maintenance or Repairs
When you rent a water softener through Lindyspring Systems, any maintenance issues that arise is handled by us. So besides making sure you're maintaining the salt levels as recommended, you can leave the maintenance worries to us! What's even better, is that our rental clients are very important to us - so if an issue does arise, we provide same day or next day service to ensure your softener is functioning properly without hassle or little downtime.

So, if you've got hard water problems, but don't want to purchase a water softener, you've got options! At Lindyspring Systems, we can help make sure you get the size of unit that is exactly right for your needs as well as install it in the most professional manner possible. Our rental softeners are typically new or in like new condition, so you don't have to worry about getting an old worn out model from us! The sun is shining and it's a beautiful day to enjoy the outdoors doing all the things you love! But as the temperatures rise this summer, you need to be sure to pay close attention to one important aspect of your health: your hydration. So this week, Lindyspring Systems offers you some information on the signs of dehydration to watch for, as well as some tips to help keep your body hydrated throughout the hot summer days.

Signs of Dehydration

Most of us associate dehydration with muscle cramps, fatigue, and extreme thirst. While these are signs of dehydration, that's not the worst of it. If we don’t keep up with our water intake, especially in hot weather or while exercising, our thinking and cognition can suffer. Just a 2% reduction in body water weight can lead to problems with short-term memory, attention, and visual-motor tracking.

Other signs that you may be dehydrated include loss of appetite, dry mouth, mild constipation, and temporary lightheadedness. A good measurement of your level of hydration is the color of your urine. Pale urine indicates adequate hydration while darker colored urine is a sign that your body needs more fluids immediately.

Tips for Staying Hydrated

We know how important hydration is to our health, but the question remains, how do we increase our water intake without feeling water-logged or sprinting to the bathroom every five minutes? Here are a few simple tips to keep you hydrated.
2. Infuse with flavor - Whether you prefer limes, lemons, oranges, berries, or cucumbers, infusing your water with fresh fruit can make for a refreshing and spa-like beverage, without any added artificial sweeteners or preservatives. Not only will it give your water a little flavor to help with soda or juice cravings, you'll be more likely to drink more of it.

3. Eat your way to hydration - The good news is that only 70-80% of your daily hydration needs to come from water; 20-30% should actually come from food! All whole fruits and vegetables contain some amount of water, so snacking on something like watermelon, cucumbers or tomatoes can help make up some of the water your body needs.

With the cost of living rising every day, we're constantly looking for any possible way to live more efficiently to save. In respect of growing desire to save in almost every aspect of our lives, Lindyspring Systems, the best water treatment company at the Lake of the Ozarks, offers some simple ways that you can minimize unnecessary water usage.
