Learn About How Lindyspring Systems Came To Be!

3/17/2017

Hello and welcome back to the Lindyspring Systems blog! As promised, we will be giving you a further look into the history of our company to give you a better insight of how long we've been in business and our depth of knowledge about water treatment at the Lake of the Ozarks. So without further ado, here's a little about how Lindyspring Systems Lake of the Ozarks got started!

A Little History Lesson

In 1969, Stu Krause started a water softener business under the name of Lindsey Water Softener. He owned and operated the business until 1991 when he sold the business to Don and Debby Gainey. The Gainey’s operated the business under the name of Ecowater Lake of the Ozarks. In December 2014, they decided to retire from the water softener business. After diligently searching for a family business to sell to that would operate in a manner similar to them that could be entrusted to keep the business going, the Gainey's sold to Dave and Rosann Kempker.

Making Some Changes

The decision to operate the business under Lindyspring Lake of the Ozarks was a tough decision to make since a lot of people were already familiar with the company name Ecowater Lake of the Ozarks. However, since Lindyspring products were of exceptional quality and would be a great fit for water treatment solutions in the Lake of the Ozarks area, the Kempker's made the choice to move forward with renaming the business. They have used Lindyspring softeners for many years and believe in the 100% made in the USA products. They sell and rent Lindyspring water conditioning units as well as Reverse Osmosis drinking water systems, filtration units, chlorination and UV systems. They also repair and service all types of units including Water-Right, Ecowater, Northstar, and Kenmore, just to name a few.

The Experience Behind the Name

The Kempkers are no newbies when it comes to successfully owning and operating a business, though. Dave and Rosann have owned Kempker Plumbing, LLC, more commonly known as Plumb Magic, since September of 1989. Dave has worked in the plumbing field for longer than that, making him one of the most trusted and experienced plumbing and water treatment professionals at the Lake of the Ozarks. The Kempkers have a vast knowledge of plumbing and water conditioning and are able to meet your water softener needs and make sure it doesn’t adversely affect your plumbing.
